This photo brought three things to mind for me. First, how was the order of the caption determined? I assume the guy in the black jacket is Coach Rice, but he is listed seventh in the caption. Weird.
Second, it must be nice knowing you're going to play everyday. Just ten guys on the team. That's just the lefty specialists on a Tony LaRuusa team nowadays.
Third, I wondered when high school sports were integrated in Tenneessee (turns out it was 1966). I would have thought (and hoped) it had been earlier.
